fleece versus flannel

Did you ever put a cozy warm blanket around your whole body on these cool days? Even if you have, it's likely fleece or blended cotton flannel. Both these materials are soft comfy and warm, but they do not have the same properties. Fleece is a type of fabric that comes from plastic fibers while flannel comes from natural resources like cotton or wool.

Fleecebed blankets are generally light-weight and provide great warmth. They are available in a large range of colours and patterns, so you may just find one emblazoned with fun designs such as those shown here - or even adorned by your favourite cartoon characters. Meanwhile, flannel blankets are also warm but have a tendency to be thicker with heavier material compared to fleece. Most of the time these are in plaid, or striped and make for a feeling that is warm and earthy.

Fleece Blanket or Flannel?

Well, which one is best for you? It all boils down to personal preference! Arranged it around their feet each time to add warmth and comforting, embroidered fleece blankets are baby great. Flannels on the other hand are thick and perfect to snuggle into bed with during winters when temperatures drop, as they provide you that warm comforting feel.

If you wear clothes, then like duh to this point as well - different materials feel completely different when they touch your skin. And that goes for polar, as well a fleece and flannel fringes. Fleece is the softest, fluffiest, fuzziest fabric available and makes you feel mentally like snuggling up in a warm embrace. Flannel is also soft, but it's not fuzzy. It feels more like it is woven, smoothly but with the rough texture of fabric weave.
